旧约 - 箴言(Proverbs) 第16章


第1段

中文 心中的谋算在乎人。舌头的应对,由于耶和华。
英文 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

第2段

中文 人一切所行的,在自己眼中看为清洁。惟有耶和华衡量人心。
英文 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

第3段

中文 你所作的,要交托耶和华,你所谋的,就必成立。
英文 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

第4段

中文 耶和华所造的,各适其用。就是恶人,也为祸患的日子所造。
英文 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

第5段

中文 凡心里骄傲的,为耶和华所憎恶。虽然连手,他必不免受罚。
英文 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

第6段

中文 因怜悯诚实,罪孽得赎。敬畏耶和华的,远离恶事。
英文 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

第7段

中文 人所行的若蒙耶和华喜悦,耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。
英文 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

第8段

中文 多有财利,行事不义,不如少有财利,行事公义。
英文 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

第9段

中文 人心筹算自己的道路。惟耶和华指引他的脚步。
英文 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

第10段

中文 王的嘴中有神语。审判之时,他的口,必不差错。
英文 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.

第11段

中文 公道的天平和秤,都属耶和华。囊中一切法码,都为他所定。
英文 A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.

第12段

中文 作恶为王所憎恶。因国位是靠公义坚立。
英文 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

第13段

中文 公义的嘴,为王所喜悦。说正直话的,为王所喜爱。
英文 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.

第14段

中文 王的震怒,如杀人的使者。但智慧人能止息王怒。
英文 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.

第15段

中文 王的脸光,使人有生命。王的恩典,好像春云时雨。
英文 In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

第16段

中文 得智慧胜似得金子。选聪明强如选银子。
英文 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

第17段

中文 正直人的道,是远离恶事。谨守己路的,是保全性命。
英文 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

第18段

中文 骄傲在败坏以先,狂心在跌倒之前。
英文 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

第19段

中文 心里谦卑与穷乏人来往,强如将掳物与骄傲人同分。
英文 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

第20段

中文 谨守训言的,必得好处。依靠耶和华的,便为有福。
英文 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

第21段

中文 心中有智慧,必称为通达人。嘴中的甜言,加增人的学问。
英文 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

第22段

中文 人有智慧就有生命的泉源。愚昧人必被愚昧惩治。
英文 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

第23段

中文 智慧人的心,教训他的口,又使他的嘴,增长学问。
英文 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

第24段

中文 良言如同蜂房,使心觉甘甜,使骨得医治。
英文 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

第25段

中文 有一条路,人以为正,至终成为死亡之路。
英文 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

第26段

中文 劳力人的胃口,使他劳力,因为他的口腹催逼他。
英文 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.

第27段

中文 匪徒图谋奸恶,嘴上彷佛有烧焦的火。
英文 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

第28段

中文 乖僻人播散分争。传舌的离间密友。
英文 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

第29段

中文 强暴人诱惑邻舍,领他走不善之道。
英文 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.

第30段

中文 眼目紧合的,图谋乖僻,嘴唇紧闭的,成就邪恶。
英文 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.

第31段

中文 白发是荣耀的冠冕。在公义的道上,必能得着。
英文 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

第32段

中文 不轻易发怒的,胜过勇士。治服己心的,强如取城。
英文 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

第33段

中文 签放在怀里。定事由耶和华。
英文 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
