| 中文 | 有人挪移地界，抢夺群畜而牧养。 |
| 英文 | Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof. |

| 中文 | 他们拉去孤儿的驴，强取寡妇的牛为当头。 |
| 英文 | They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge. |

| 中文 | 他们使穷人离开正道，世上的贫民尽都隐藏。 |
| 英文 | They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together. |

| 中文 | 这些贫穷人，如同野驴出到旷野，殷勤寻梢食物。他们靠着野地给儿女糊口， |
| 英文 | Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children. |

| 英文 | Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them. |

| 英文 | They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof. |

| 英文 | The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face. |

| 英文 | In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. |

| 中文 | 他们看早晨如幽暗，因为他们晓得幽暗的惊骇。 |
| 英文 | For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death. |

| 中文 | 这些恶人犹如浮萍快快飘去。他们所得的分在世上被咒诅。他们不得再走葡萄园的路。 |
| 英文 | He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards. |

| 中文 | 乾旱炎热消没雪水，阴间也如此消没犯罪之辈。 |
| 英文 | Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned. |

| 中文 | 怀他的母（原文是胎）要忘记他。虫子要吃他，觉得甘甜。他不再被人记念。不义的人必如树折断。 |
| 英文 | The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree. |
