| 中文 | 祸哉，那些下埃及求帮住的，是因仗赖马匹，倚靠甚多的车辆，并倚靠强壮的马兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华。 |
| 英文 | Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! |

| 中文 | 其实耶和华有智慧。他必降灾祸，并不反悔自己的话，却要兴起攻击那作恶之家，又攻击那作孽帮助人的。 |
| 英文 | Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. |

| 中文 | 埃及人不过是人，并不是神。他们的马不过是血肉，并不是灵。耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的必绊跌，那受帮助的也必跌倒，都一同灭亡。 |
| 英文 | Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together. |

| 中文 | 耶和华对我如此说，狮子和少壮狮子，获食咆哮，就是喊许多牧人来攻击他，他总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧哗缩伏。如此万军之耶和华，也必降临在锡安山冈上争战。 |
| 英文 | For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. |
